Honoring Camp Washington's rich history as the heart of Cincinnati's meatpacking industry, the Camp Washington Business Association is proud to introduce the inaugural Cattle Drive: Moo Mile.

Inspired by the legendary story of Freedom the Cow, who famously escaped a Camp Washington slaughterhouse in 2006 and ultimately lived out the rest of her life on a peaceful farm, this fun-filled community event celebrates the neighborhood's unique heritage with a playful twist.

Participants of all ages are encouraged to gather their friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors, don their best cow-inspired attire, and compete for costume prizes, neighborhood bragging rights, and plenty of laughs. As the official kickoff to the Camp Washington State Fair, the Cattle Drive: Moo Mile is designed to become a signature annual tradition that brings the community together through creativity, connection, and a shared appreciation for Camp Washington's one-of-a-kind history.
